Edward Napier, tenor

As a younger man, Edward Napier performed in many musicals and operas including Gianni Schicci, Tenderland, and HMS Pinafore. For many years he has performed as a soloist with choirs both in NY and LA. He studied through the Juilliard Extension with Vincent LaSelva and Corradina Capporello. Presently, he studies with Jane Olian and coaches with Ms. Capporello, and Donna Gill. Ed is also a playwright whose work has been seen Off Broadway at MCC, the WPA, and HB Playwright’s Foundation where is on the Board of Directors. His plays have been published by Dramatists Play Service and Smith and Kraus. Recipient of the Berrilla Kerr Award, he was a Columbia Senior Writing Fellow, a Juilliard Playwright Fellow, and a Playwright Fellow at the Lark Theatre. A graduate of Columbia University, Ed is an adjunct professor of creative writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
